My parents put me in hockey. I loved the thrill of scoring a goal and liked the camaraderie of the team atmosphere.

I grew up in Edmonton and had the privilege to watch the likes of Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Jari Kurri. My dad, who has always supported my hockey endeavours, would wake me up to watch the Stanley Cup celebrations when they won over the years. My favourite player is/was Brendan Shanahan.

I like to work hard, play a simple game and finish my hits.

I like to water-ski, surf, scuba dive and travel.

I heard of the Perth Thunder by word of mouth when I moved here. I was eager to play Ice Hockey in the highest possible level in Australia.

I would imagine that Melbourne Ice will contend. I also understand Adelaide Adrenaline have improved immensely.

With the experience that the team gained last year and the calibre of imports this year we will be a tough team to beat.
